At the heart of the nVue IXP replication, lies only the best of what technology can offer for Progress customers. When choosing the nVue IXP solution, you are choosing a solution that utilizes the same rock solid infrastructure that already runs your enterprise systems.

Site to Site Bi-Directional Replication

In the nVue IXP Site-To-Site replication, as transactions are completed in one system, they are replicated to the target system. nVue IXP captures the changes made in the source database and stores them until the nVue IXP Sender process forwards them to the target system through SonicMQ. By using a separate process to forward the changes, nVue IXP allows the user to process information without delay to the application users.

Multiple Site Bi-Directional Replication

In the nVue IXP Multiple-Site replication architecture, as a transaction is completed in one system, it is replicated to one or many target system(s). To replicate data to more than one site, nVue IXP has a very elaborate and comprehensive routing system that is defined at each site. nVue IXP is able to route messages to "main" queues and "content" queues. The distinction between the two different queue types is that every transaction is replicated to the main queues, while only transactions that meet the criteria of the site defined Content Based Routing (CBR) rules are forwarded to a content queue.
